Mumbai, Oct 19 (NationPress) Actor Rajat Bedi, who recently made his return with the Aryan Khan directed ‘The Ba*ds of Bollywood’, recounted an amusing story from the filming of ‘Partner’, where he starred alongside Bollywood icon Salman Khan.
During a chat with IANS to mark the success of ‘The Ba*ds of Bollywood’, Rajat reflected on the moment when Salman Khan couldn't contain his laughter upon seeing him for the first time on set.
He shared, “I have familial connections with Salman Khan. Salim sahab (Salman's father) was well acquainted with my father and grandfather. Salman bhai genuinely appreciates the family background I hail from. However, on the first day of shooting ‘Partner’, when Salman arrived to film his initial scene, I was sitting at the table sporting a trendy spiky hairstyle, which I thought would suit David Dhawan's film.”
He continued, “I distinctly remember when Salman bhai sat opposite me, he looked at my hairstyle and erupted in laughter. I was perplexed, thinking, ‘Why is he laughing?’ He just couldn't stop chuckling.”
“Every time he caught a glimpse of me, he remarked that something had gone wrong in my life. We proceeded to film that scene together. Later, when I watched myself on screen, I realized how foolish I looked. I felt like a complete idiot, and Salman’s laughter was indeed contagious,” he added.
Previously, Rajat had mentioned that the director of the show, Aryan Khan, along with his friends, are ardent fans of ‘Koi Mil Gaya’. Rajat plays the role of a ‘has-been’ star in the recently launched streaming series directed by Aryan, son of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan.
