For those unaware, Rajpal was released from Tihar Jail last Tuesday after being granted interim bail by the Delhi High Court in relation to a cheque bounce case.
Speaking to reporters post-release, Rajpal stated that he feels the support of the entire nation, mentioning that people of all ages hold him in high regard.
He remarked that throughout his nearly 30-year career, he has participated in over 200 films, attributing this to the affection he receives from the public.
Rajpal shared, “If you seek any legal insights, please consult our attorney, Mr. Bhaskar. Otherwise, I will soon celebrate 30 years in Bollywood. Every child across the nation has stood by me, which is why I’ve been able to act in 200-250 films. This journey began in 2012-13, and by 2026, I would have featured in around 250 films. Every citizen of this country has always supported me.”
He also stated, “In the last decade, I have complied with all orders issued by the honorable High Court and will continue to do so for any future directives.”
Rajpal further expressed, “Bachpan se 55 tak sab pyaar karte hain.”
Notably, Rajpal has been granted interim bail by the Delhi High Court until March 18, allowing him to attend his niece’s wedding in Shahjahanpur.
His attorney informed the High Court that he has submitted a DD of Rs 1.5 crore. Additionally, the actor has been instructed to surrender his passport.
The next hearing in this matter is set for March 18.
