Mumbai, April 12 (NationPress) Actress Richa Chadha mirrored societal concerns as she expressed her thoughts on the escalating, unexplained sadness among individuals in her recent social media update.
In her Instagram post, she shared, "Over the past few months, I have been wrestling with something profound while embracing my journey as a new mother, almost like a spectator... experiencing emotions that surge like ocean waves. There are high tides and low tides."
The 'Fukrey' actress continued, "Regardless of who I converse with, whether they reside in India or abroad, their age, gender, belief in God, or even if they are artists or regular folks - there exists an unexplainable sadness. It’s a sensation of looming and inevitable doom, a numbness rooted in struggle and conflict."
Discussing the rising influence of AI, she remarked, "Economic instability exacerbates these feelings. There's an underlying anxiety about becoming irrelevant in this rapidly evolving world or facing job loss due to AI advancements. I completely understand this fear."
Addressing the alarming rise in health issues among the youth, Richa noted, "There’s a widespread anxiety about the future, regardless of the perspective one adopts. Perhaps the pandemic altered us and our environment in ways we’re reluctant to admit."
She elaborated on health chaos, saying, "While many are awakening to the reality that nature is the cornerstone of our wealth, development should not come at the expense of our environment, yet many are shocked at the sudden deaths of the young."
Richa added, "Something has shifted. There’s a sense that something is not right. Maybe everything we've been taught about our world is misleading. Perhaps what we aren't told about 'true human nature' is merely a creation of a troubled, unhappy mind."
She concluded, "In summary, people are unhappy. We currently rank among the least happy nations worldwide."
To provoke thought, she posed a poignant question - "What went wrong?"
