Los Angeles, March 10 (NationPress) - Rihanna, the Grammy-winning artist, has significantly increased her personal safety measures following a gun attack at her residence, an incident that has left her deeply unsettled.

The 38-year-old star was present at her Beverly Hills mansion when it was targeted by 10 shots, allegedly fired by a woman named Ivanna Ortiz, who has since been taken into custody for using an assault rifle against the property.

According to reports from Page Six, a source indicated that the singer is now employing additional security measures and has postponed an upcoming photo shoot due to this alarming event, as noted by femalefirst.co.uk.

Another insider revealed that Rihanna is struggling to comprehend why her family was involved in this violent incident.

They further shared that the Disturbia singer is “freaking out” following the assault, which involved an AR-15 rifle.

A source recounted, “Rihanna heard the gunfire but was initially confused about what was occurring.

“Even with a strong security team, it’s frightening to acknowledge that such a thing can happen. It was terrifying, but Rihanna is grateful that everyone is safe.”

Rihanna resides at the property with her long-term partner, A$AP Rocky, and their children RZA (3), Riot (2), and Rocki (6 months).

Reports also indicate that the alleged shooter targeted Rihanna’s mansion shortly after posting a menacing message aimed at the singer on social media.

According to the Daily Mail, on February 23, just days prior to the shooting, Ortiz made a derogatory post directed at Rihanna on Facebook.

Along with an image of herself in a leopard-print top, she reportedly wrote: “@badgalriri Are you there? Because I was waiting for your AIDS 5-head self to say something to me directly instead of sneaking around.”

Furthermore, Ortiz claimed she was “done with Rihanna” in other social media posts, labeling the singer in derogatory terms.

At the time of the shooting, Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, and their children were inside the home, though fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Police allege that Ortiz fired the shots from a white Tesla before fleeing the scene.

The LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division is currently investigating the incident, and Ortiz faces an attempted murder charge.

Radio dispatch recordings, reviewed by the Los Angeles Times, confirmed that at least 10 shots were discharged from the vehicle before the driver escaped.

As officers initiated a search for the car, a description was broadcast over police radio, detailing the suspect as having braided hair and wearing a cream-colored blouse.

Photos on social media show Ortiz with braided hair, according to femalefirst.co.uk.

A police helicopter eventually located a Tesla parked in Sherman Oaks, where Ortiz was arrested.

According to the Mail, Ortiz has a history of arrests in Florida for domestic violence, reckless driving, and breaching pretrial release conditions.
