Rohan Mehra: My Debut in the Crime-Thriller Genre with ‘Pyramid’

Mumbai, Dec 13 (NationPress) Recognized for his performances in series such as Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Sasural Simar Ka, actor Rohan Mehra is ready to take on a new challenge with the upcoming project Pyramid, which marks his debut in the crime-thriller genre.
Reflecting on his experience, Rohan expressed: “Bringing Mohit to life in Pyramid has been a highly fulfilling adventure. This is my inaugural venture into the crime-thriller genre, and the character demanded that I explore Mohit’s intricacies and depth. He isn’t merely a hacker but a crucial figure in deciphering the enigma, with every plot twist keeping us, as performers, alert during the filming.”
“Pyramid,” a gripping crime-thriller, centers around the assassination of a CEO from a cryptocurrency firm, drawing its characters deeper into a web of mysteries and dangers. The cast also features Helly Shah and Harshad Arora in essential roles.
Discussing his filming experience and collaboration with his co-stars, he noted: “The stunning yet secluded setting of Manali heightened the excitement of the narrative, enveloping each scene in its charm. Helly Shah and Harshad Arora were exceptional co-stars, contributing unparalleled commitment to their characters, which enriched the story significantly, making the entire experience unforgettable.”
Pyramid is scheduled to premiere exclusively on the Hungama OTT platform on December 19.
Reflecting on his career journey, Rohan began his modeling career in 2009 and made his acting debut with an episode of the crime drama Gumrah: End of Innocence in 2012. He later appeared in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain and gained prominence with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, subsequently participating as a celebrity contestant in the 10th season of the popular Indian reality show Bigg Boss.
He has since appeared in Sasural Simar Ka, Laal Ishq, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, and Webbed 2.
