When asked about her New Year’s plans, Saiyami shared with IANS: “New Year’s is always celebrated at home with my family and friends. It’s a cherished ritual. My friends and I gather around a bonfire, enjoy a barbecue, set up tents, and camp outdoors.”
This year, however, the actress is incorporating a fitness goal into her celebrations. Eager to conclude the year on a positive note, Saiyami revealed her aspiration to run 31 kilometers in the morning before joining her family and friends for the traditional celebrations.
“This New Year, I aim to finish strong, so I’m planning to run 31 kilometers in the morning, followed by our usual festivities. Food, desserts, music, board games, and camping (sic),” said the actress.
On the professional front, she has completed filming for “Haiwaan,” which stars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan.
Directed by Priyadarshan, the movie also features Sharib Hashmi. Filming took place in scenic locations such as Kochi, Ooty, and Mumbai, having commenced in August this year, and marks the reunion of Akshay and Saif after 18 years.
Saif and Akshay last collaborated in ‘Tashan’, which was met with commercial and critical failure.
Additionally, Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar are working on a project titled ‘Bhoot Bangla’, a horror drama expected to release towards the end of 2025. The film signifies the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan, one of the most commercially successful actor-director partnerships in Hindi cinema.
As for Saiyami, she was recently featured in 'Jaat', directed by Gopichand Malineni.
The film includes Sunny Deol, Randeep Hooda, Regena Cassandrra, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Saiyami Kher in key roles, alongside Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu, Prashant Bajaj, Zarina Wahab, P. Ravi Shankar, and Babloo Prithiveeraj.
