Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Jan 13 (NationPress) The fan base for Yami Gautam's courtroom drama 'Haq' keeps growing.
Recently, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu expressed her admiration for the film's team, highlighting its complexity and lack of judgment.
In a heartfelt post on her Instagram Stories, Samantha shared, "I had to write this immediately after the film finished because I feared losing even a bit of the emotions it stirred within me. Stories like this are uncommon. They are profoundly human, intricately layered, and devoid of bias. And even more exceptional when brought to life by such a talented actor as @yamigautam."
Samantha revealed that Yami's performance as Shazia Bano resonated with her in ways that are difficult to articulate.
"@reshunath your writing lingered with me. @yamigautam your portrayal moved me in ways I can't thoroughly describe. I experienced a whirlwind of emotions: love, rage, strength, vulnerability, and hope," the 'Yashoda' actress remarked.
Samantha emphasized that films like 'Haq' are the reason she is passionate about her career.
She concluded her post with, "This is cinema. This is why we pursue our craft. This is the motivation behind our choices, through every high and low. Grateful, thank you."
She also congratulated director Suparn Verma, stating, "@suparnverma BIGGEST congratulations to you for telling this story so beautifully."
Earlier, Saba Pataudi, sister of Saif Ali Khan, also shared her admiration for Yami and the 'Haq' team for creating a cinematic masterpiece.
Her Instagram post stated, "Incredible performances. Brilliant. Undoubtedly deserving a standing ovation...for an artistic work. So well depicted on screen. A story that needed to be shared about Shazia Bano. RELEVANT. Yami Gautam you were simply OUTSTANDING. Moved to tears by the depth of your talent and effort. A huge fan...always," Saba added.
Previously, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, and many others from the industry expressed their admiration for Yami after witnessing her performance in 'Haq'.
