The actress made her film debut in “Qatil” in 1988, directed by Ashok Gaikwad, featuring co-stars Aditya Pancholi and Shakti Kapoor.

The film narrates the story of a young law student who defies the death penalty law and gets himself involved in a murder case of a prostitute to demonstrate that innocent individuals can receive capital punishment.
