Mumbai, Jan 11 (NationPress) Sangeeta Bijlani, one of the most celebrated actresses of her era, has made a recent comeback and is actively engaging her fans through social media. In her latest Instagram stories, the vintage star shared a video of herself savoring a delectable cheese grilled sandwich.
In the caption, she humorously noted, "When you're caught unawares by your sneaky friend taking a shot of me relishing the cheese grilled sandwich."
Additionally, Sangeeta shared another clip featuring a tempting bowl of Gaajar ka Halwa, accompanied by the heartfelt message, "When your Mami makes the yumm Gaajar ka Halwa for you with so much love."
Recently, she made a guest appearance on the reality show, Indian Idol. During the show, when a contestant inquired about her nearly-wed status to Salman Khan, Sangeeta appeared momentarily taken aback but confirmed that it was indeed not a fabrication.
In a past media interaction, she was queried on how she maintained a good relationship with Salman Khan. She expressed, "Connections don't break. Connections never go away. The love between your partners and school friends endures. People will come and go; permanence is an illusion. That doesn’t mean you should harbor bitterness or anger. Life is about evolution. I may have been childish and naive once, but I've matured. Life is filled with experiences."
According to reports, Sangeeta Bijlani and Salman Khan were set to marry on May 27, 1994, with even wedding invitations printed. However, Sangeeta allegedly discovered Salman with Somy Ali, leading to the wedding being called off. Subsequently, she married former cricketer Azharuddin in 1996, but they parted ways in 2010.
