The acclaimed film, presented by Telugu actor Nani, addresses the exploitation of the POCSO Act and has garnered significant acclaim from men’s rights advocates.
In an interview, director Ram Jagadish revealed that the inspiration for the story stemmed from a real-life case.
Ram Jagadish stated, “Upon encountering that case, I began to ponder the reality of such incidents. Eventually, I discovered numerous similar cases. I conducted thorough research on various POCSO cases. Hundreds exist in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. I examined many case files for this narrative and felt I could weave a compelling story from them. Thus, all these elements were integrated into a single narrative, which is now presented on screen.”
Court – State Vs A Nobody is a courtroom drama intertwined with a poignant love story, highlighting the misuse of the POCSO Act. The film, which was brought to life by Nani's Wall Poster Cinema, stars Priyadarshi in the lead role.
