Mumbai, 23 February (NationPress) Writer and Director Saurabh Shukla recently shared insights on his upcoming film, "Jab Khuli Kitaab", emphasizing that the narrative delves into the intricacies of relationships, emotions, and unresolved disputes with a touch of humor.

Featuring Pankaj Kapur, Dimple Kapadia, and Aparshakti Khurana, along with Samir Soni, Nauheed Cyrusi, and Manasi Parekh in supporting roles, the first look of this direct-to-digital film unveiled today presents an engaging family drama brimming with warmth, wit, and heartfelt moments.

Produced by Applause Entertainment and a Shoestrap Films Production, the film is both penned and directed by Saurabh Shukla, based on his original play of the same title. The premiere is set for March 06, 2026, exclusively on Hindi ZEE5.

Exploring the narrative further, Jab Khuli Kitaab follows Gopal and Anusuya, a couple whose long-standing relationship is shaken by an unexpected revelation that alters their dynamic. As long-hidden truths emerge, the family becomes entangled in a whirlwind of emotions that are both poignant and often humorous; culminating in a narrative that examines love, companionship, forgiveness, and the beautiful potential of rediscovering each other after years together.
