Chennai, March 22 (NationPress) Bollywood actress Seema Biswas is making her comeback in Tamil cinema through director Ramu Chellappa’s web series ‘Om Kaali Jai Kaali’, which stars actor Vimal in the lead role. She has recently revealed that she portrays the character of an informer for the primary antagonist in this series.
Set to premiere on the OTT platform JioHotstar starting March 28 this year, the series has generated significant buzz following the release of its trailer.
Known for her selective choice of roles, Seema plays a crucial character in ‘Om Kaali Jai Kaali’. The actress, famed for her iconic performances in films such as ‘Bandit Queen’ and ‘Khamoshi’, initially ventured into Tamil cinema with the film ‘Iyarkai’ in 2003, followed by a notable role in ‘Thalaimagan’ in 2006.
After nearly 19 years, she is making her return to Tamil cinema through the Hotstar Specials series ‘Om Kaali Jai Kaali’.
