She shared with People, “Oh, with kids. I mean, I love being a mother,” said Seyfried, 40, who has two children. “I love portraying a mother, and I would love to explore the intricacies of motherhood and raising children on a picturesque Greek island, much like Donna did with Sophie.”

The character of Sophie’s mother, Donna, was played by Meryl Streep in the 2008 musical romantic comedy. Seyfried also discussed the possibility of a storyline featuring Sophie as a mother.

She mentioned, “I think that would be really fascinating. I have no clue where the story might lead, but I’m certain it will include plenty of singing and dancing. I’ll keep advocating for that movie until I’m blue in the face.”
