Sharmila Tagore's Impactful Return with ‘Outhouse’

Mumbai, Dec 5 (NationPress) Iconic actress Sharmila Tagore is returning to the big screen with her eagerly awaited film “Outhouse.”

On Thursday, the film's creators unveiled the trailer on social media, offering a glimpse into the lives of Nana (Mohan Agashe), Aadima (Sharmila Tagore), and her grandson Neel (Jihan Hodar) as they embark on a heartfelt mission to find their lost dog, Pablo.

Sharmila delivers a mesmerizing portrayal as Aadima, a spirited grandmother whose quest for Pablo leads her to the reclusive Nana, who is battling his own difficulties. The chemistry between Tagore and Mohan Agashe adds warmth and authenticity to the narrative.

Regarding her comeback film, Sharmila Tagore expressed, “This film is a beautiful reminder that life always has surprises in store, no matter your age. Aadima’s journey with Neel and Nana is filled with laughter, lessons, and moments that will resonate with the audience. I had a wonderful time working on the film. As I approach 80 in a few days, I feel grateful to create something so meaningful at this point in my life.”

Mohan Agashe, portraying Nana, remarked, “It’s a film that families can enjoy together and relate to. The narrative is about discovering meaning and connection in unexpected circumstances. It’s a slice of life that encourages us to embrace change and value relationships – even those with a small puppy like Pablo.”

In a related note, “Outhouse” is produced by Dr. Mohan Agashe and directed by Sunil Sukthankar. The film features Sharmila Tagore and Mohan Agashe in leading roles, alongside Jihan Hodar, Sonali Kulkarni, Neeraj Kabi, and Sunil Abhayankar.
