Mumbai, Feb 9 (NationPress) Actress Shivangi Verma recently shared insights into her choice to portray the love interest of Prabhu Deva in the movie “Badass Ravi Kumar.”

The actress disclosed the reasons that influenced her decision and how she prepared for the role. Shivangi, who made a cameo appearance alongside Prabhu Deva, expressed her enthusiasm about being part of this project. Despite her role being minor, she cherishes the chance to collaborate with Prabhu and appreciates the experience it brings.

Verma stated, “I am cast opposite Prabhu Deva, playing his girlfriend. Although it’s a brief role, I agreed to it primarily because it was a Himesh Reshammiya project, marking my second collaboration with him. The film has finally premiered, and the audience's reaction has been nothing short of amazing! Honestly, the sole reason I accepted this film was Himesh Reshammiya. I’ve always admired his work, and this second project makes it even more special. The energy, vision, and passion he injects into every project are truly unparalleled.”

“What makes this film even more meaningful to me is that the song I recorded with Himesh, ‘Tere Pyar Mein’, from Suroor 2021, is featured in this movie as well! The only twist? Spotting familiar faces instantly made me feel at home, reinforcing that this was going to be a remarkable experience.”

Discussing her future projects, Verma revealed, “I’m currently filming another movie. This one features veteran actor Govind Namdev, and I am nearing the conclusion of my third schedule. Fingers crossed—hoping for the best. God is kind.”
