The talented actress will soon appear in the international movie 'The Eye'. Adding to the thrill, the film's producers unveiled her first look on her birthday, January 28, 2025.

In a special birthday tribute, the film's director, Daphne Schmon, shared on her official Instagram account, "Happy birthday to the stunning, brave and fierce Shruti Haasan, who will always be 'our Diana.' Shruti Haasan expressed her gratitude in the comments, replying, "Thank you, my lovely daphers," accompanied by three red heart emojis.

In 'The Eye', Shruti Haasan will portray the character Diana. The initial poster showcases her in a blue high-neck sweater, looking worried.

Promoted as a psychological thriller, 'The Eye' also features Mark Rowley in a leading role, alongside Linda Marlowe and Peru Kavalieri in significant parts. The narrative revolves around a young widow who returns to the island where her husband died to scatter his ashes. Upon discovering the truth about his death, she faces a dark choice that could bring him back.

'The Eye' has already gained recognition at international film festivals, securing accolades at the Greek International Film Festival and the London Independent Film Festival.

Besides 'The Eye', Shruti Haasan is also anticipating the release of her upcoming film 'Coolie'. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, this project is produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures.

'Coolie' stars the legendary Rajinikanth in the lead role, featuring Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Reba Monica John, and Junior MGR in important roles.
