Mumbai, March 3 (NationPress) Actress Shruti Haasan, whose British psychological thriller film ‘The Eye’ premiered in India as the opening feature of the 5th Wench Film Festival, has expressed her affinity for narratives that delve into love, darkness, and self-discovery.
She noted that ‘The Eye’ gave her the chance to tackle these emotions on screen. Set against the stunning landscapes of Greece, the film follows Diana (played by Haasan) as she embarks on an emotional journey, scattering the ashes of her late husband Felix on a secluded island. What begins as a means of closure soon leads her to the eerie and enigmatic ‘Evil Eye’ ritual, creating a haunting tale of grief, fate, and the supernatural.
