Mumbai, March 27 (NationPress) Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi, who recently starred in ‘Yudhra’, revealed that his forthcoming film ‘Dhadak 2’ provides him with a chance to delve into his heritage.
The actor attended the NDTV Yuva event in the national capital and expressed that this movie enabled him to step away from the urban roles he has predominantly been offered.
Discussing this, he stated, “I would love to announce the release date first; I hope Karan is watching this. But yes, we have created a truly robust and grounded film. Typically, I have been approached for urban characters, but I hail from Ballia, a small town in UP, and this is my first experience exploring such a genre.”
He added, “I’m incredibly excited; it’s a fantastic script featuring an amazing co-actress, Triptii. I wish I could share more, but for now, I’ll let the trailer speak for itself. It will be released very soon this year. Fingers crossed.”
‘Dhadak 2’ is a romantic drama penned and directed by Shazia Iqbal and produced by Dharma Productions. This film serves as a spiritual sequel to ‘Dhadak’, which was itself a remake of the blockbuster Marathi film ‘Sairat’.
