Synopsis
Key Takeaways
Mumbai, March 25 (NationPress) Bollywood star Siddhant Chaturvedi has candidly discussed the challenges of maintaining his fashion image amid the rapid rise of social media and the intense public scrutiny that accompanies it.
During a recent chat with IANS at the Lakme Fashion Week, he expressed that he doesn't succumb to the pressure of fashion, reiterating that his primary passion has always been acting.
“I came here to pursue acting, and that's what matters most to me,” Siddhant remarked.
He added, “When it comes to fashion, it’s simply a part of my roles in films, where we are styled in great outfits.”
Siddhant elaborated on his perspective regarding fashion, stating, “The most stylish individuals are those who don't overthink it, who remain relaxed and carefree. True swag emanates naturally from one's personality. Overthinking tends to lead to conformity, which I find counterproductive,” he shared.
In a brief yet insightful conversation during the Lakme Fashion Week 2026, Siddhant addressed queries from IANS about style, fashion, and his public image.
On the professional horizon, Siddhant made his Bollywood debut with “Gully Boy” in 2019, where his portrayal of MC Sher garnered significant praise.

His performance in the Deepika Padukone-led “Gehraiyaan”, released in 2022, also received considerable acclaim.
Most recently, he starred in “Do Deewane Sheher Mein” alongside Mrunal Thakur.
Currently, Siddhant is preparing for an ambitious new project where he will portray the legendary filmmaker V. Shantaram. The film, which also features Tamannaah Bhatia, is directed by Laxman Utekar and is expected to release in 2026.
