Mumbai, April 9 (NationPress) Simar Bhatia has recently gained significant attention in the media. As the niece of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, Simar is preparing for her much-anticipated Bollywood debut in the film "Ikkis".
Reflecting on her upcoming entry into the film industry, Simar remarked, "I’ve always believed in stars aligning, and this feels like one of those rare, magical moments. I’m grateful, excited, and of course, a little nervous. Right now, I’m just soaking it all in—learning, growing, and trying to enjoy every little moment… even the wonderfully awkward ones!"
Akshay Kumar also shared his pride and support for Simar's venture into Bollywood. He previously wrote a touching message on social media, reminiscing about his early days in cinema and expressing his confidence in Simar's talents.

Simar will star alongside Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan, in "Ikkis". The film is directed by the renowned filmmaker Sriram Raghavan and is based on the true story of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra.
The main cast of "Ikkis" will also feature Jaideep Ahlawat, Dharmendra, Sikandar Kher, Ekavali Khanna, Kunal Mann, and Hardeep Singh.
