Sonakshi Sinha and Karishma Tanna Show Support for Team India at Boxing Day Test in Melbourne

Mumbai, Dec 26 (NationPress) Actress Sonakshi Sinha and Karishma Tanna are relishing the Boxing Day test match featuring India and Australia in Melbourne.

The actress was spotted among the vast crowd of supporters at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Thursday. Sonakshi shared multiple videos on her Instagram Stories, showcasing her enthusiasm as she cheered for team India.

One of the videos revealed her husband Zaheer Iqbal playing cricket with children on the field during a break in play.

Similarly, Karishma Tanna posted photos from the venue with her husband Varun Bangera. In one of the images shared on her feed, she proudly held the Indian tri-colour.

India and Australia are competing in the Boxing Day test that commenced on Thursday. This match, the fourth in the series, is vital as it will determine the winner of the Border–Gavaskar Trophy, with the series currently tied at 1-1. India made a remarkable comeback to win the first test, while Australia, the reigning World Champions in cricket, shifted gears in the second test to claim victory.

The third test was hindered by rain and was declared a draw, with India managing to avoid the follow-on.

As of this report, Australia stands at 300 for 6 wickets, placing them in a favorable position, as India has struggled to produce a competitive score in the series, aside from the first test match.

However, India's legendary bowler Jasprit Bumrah secured crucial wickets, including an early breakthrough against Travis Head. Head, who has posed challenges for India throughout this series, was dismissed for a duck by Bumrah in the first innings of this match on Thursday.

Four Australian batsmen—Sam Konstas, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne, and Steve Smith—have registered half-centuries, putting their team in a secure position.

For team India's batsmen, a daunting task lies ahead as they must chase down runs, especially considering that the batting lineup, despite being the strongest in the world, has raised concerns.
