Mumbai, Dec 4 (NationPress) Bollywood’s style icon and actress Sonam Kapoor took a nostalgic trip down memory lane as she shared a heartfelt throwback from the significant day when she got engaged to her businessman husband Anand Ahuja in New York.

The actress graced Instagram with a snapshot from the moment Anand proposed, reflecting on the eight years that have passed since she said yes to “the love of my life”.

“Throwback to when I got engaged in NYC to the love of my life 8 years ago. Love you @anandahuja,” she captioned the post.

The couple celebrated their union with a lavish wedding in May 2018, after several years of dating. They welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Vayu, in August 2022.

Recently, the actress revealed she is expecting her second child.

Sonam shared an image on Instagram, showcasing herself in a striking hot-pink pure wool suit with oversized padded shoulders, tenderly cradling her growing baby bump.

She captioned the post: “MOTHER.”

In 2023, she appeared in the film Blind, a crime thriller directed by Shome Makhija, featuring actors Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey. The film, a remake of the 2011 Korean film of the same title, revolves around a blind police officer on the trail of a serial killer.

Sonam was slated to lead the adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s novel “Battle for Bittora,” but the project has faced delays for years. Produced by her sister Rhea Kapoor, it was intended to be a captivating mix of romance and politics.

The daughter of actor Anil Kapoor, Sonam began her journey in the film industry as an assistant director on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2005 film Black. She made her acting debut in Saawariya (2007), followed by notable roles in I Hate Luv Storys, Raanjhanaa, and acclaimed performances in biopics like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Sanju, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Neerja, and Veere Di Wedding.
