Mumbai, May 14 (NationPress) Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan made an unexpected appearance at the London rehearsal space for “Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ” musical directed by Aditya Chopra.
Jena Pandya, portraying Simran in the production, expressed her excitement: “Having Shah Rukh Khan in the rehearsal space was a tremendous honor. His generosity with his time and support for the show made it unforgettable.”
She continued, “Presenting him with some of the iconic scenes he and Kajol originally brought to life was an extraordinary experience that I’ll cherish forever. I’m looking forward to showcasing this story in Manchester next week.”
The stage adaptation of the cherished 1995 Hindi romantic classic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, where SRK played Raj and Kajol played Simran, will debut in the UK at the Manchester Opera House from May 29 to June 21.
“Come Fall in Love – The DDLJ Musical” takes place in both the UK and India, with direction by Aditya Chopra.
Ashley Day, who plays Rog, shared, “When SRK entered the rehearsal room to meet the entire cast, it was a moment that resonated with everyone—so special that words weren’t necessary.”
