Mumbai, Sep 12 (NationPress) Actor Sunny Hinduja made a trip to Dubai to see his parents, and what did his mother request from India? The 'Saare Jahan Se Accha' star disclosed that she wanted him to carry atta (flour) from India.
While sharing a peek into his packing routine, Sunny humorously remarked, "She assumes India is a grocery store and I’m her delivery person."
The video shared on his Instagram showcased Sunny’s adventure of packing the atta and delivering it to his mother upon arrival in Dubai.
"Atta maajhi satakli (Laughing emoji) [dubai, international trip, flight, home, family, mom, chores, funny, grocery shopping, anuv jain, aise kaise song]," he captioned the video.
Sunny also featured the track "Arz Kiya Hai" from Coke Studio Bharat as the background music.
Finding the video relatable, one netizen commented, "Lol. We are just like that. We also carry atta and rice… Indian delivery system."
Another user expressed, "Awesome sir, great son and a fantastic actor! Loved the series Saare Jahan Se Achha; you did an incredible job, huge respect."
A third comment read, "Cutest role reversal here; my mom and mother-in-law send me Indian items to Abu Dhabi."
Referencing his acclaimed series, "Aspirants," a user humorously noted, "Sandeep bhaiya's parents live in Dubai… seems like their financial situation has improved @hindujasunny."
Meanwhile, in an exclusive chat with IANS, Sunny shared insights on how the mind can serve as both a formidable adversary and a reliable ally, depending on how it is directed.
He stated, "In my opinion, our greatest enemy and our best friend is the same—our mind. It’s the mind that can inspire arrogance, yet it can also foster compassion if it’s linked to the heart."
"Thus, that’s our biggest enemy, and we must learn to channel it effectively," Sunny added.
