Mumbai, Dec 1 (NationPress) Tahira Kashyap has recently shown her appreciation for her husband and actor Ayushmann Khurrana for loving her father equally and ensuring that his 70th birthday was a special occasion.
On Sunday, the star spouse shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram to celebrate her father Yajan Kashyap's milestone birthday. To commemorate the event, she posted a collection of videos and photos capturing the festivities. In her message, Tahira reflected on the unique bond she shares with her dad. She fondly remembered treasured moments from her childhood through adulthood and expressed her profound appreciation for the love and wisdom her father has always provided.
Tahira started by looking back at the times he would prepare her for school, from tying a tight, oiled ponytail in kindergarten to their late-night mango-eating sessions.
She also reminisced about how her father has always been a guiding light in her life, teaching her to drive and supporting her when she ventured into marriage. One particularly amusing anecdote she shared involved him arranging for two single beds when booking their honeymoon suite, clearly anticipating a calm and uneventful stay.
The proud daughter wrote in her caption, “Papa’s forever young 70th b’day!! Thank you Universe for such a beautiful day. From getting me ready with a tight oiled ponytail in kindergarten to enjoying mangoes in the middle of the night and being partners in crime, from teaching me to drive to facilitating my marriage and booking a honeymoon room for my newlywed husband and me with 2 single beds as you expected nothing to transpire. Life has been a joyous, humorous, and musical journey with you, Papa!”
She continued, “I still adhere to your words that you instilled in me: ‘If wealth is lost, nothing is lost; if health is lost, something is lost; but if character is lost, everything is lost.’ Thank you for choosing me as your daughter. Thank you @ayushmannk for loving my father equally and making last night so musically memorable.”
