Tejaswini Kolhapure is the niece of Asha Bhosle and sister to actress Padmini Kolhapure, as well as the maternal aunt of Shraddha Kapoor.
Asha Bhosle, one of the most esteemed figures in Indian music, sadly passed away on Sunday at the age of 92. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday, where Dr. Prateet Samdani reported that she was facing multiple medical complications and ultimately succumbed to multiple organ failure.
Ashish Shelar, the Culture Minister of Maharashtra, confirmed her passing outside the hospital.
Throughout her illustrious career, Asha Bhosle received numerous accolades for her remarkable contributions to music, including the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.
