The Wheel of Time Season 3: Teaser and Release Date Announced

Mumbai, December 8, 2024 — Prime Video has disclosed the teaser for the third season of its fantasy series The Wheel of Time, along with the date it will be released. The new season is set to debut globally on March 13, 2025. The teaser was presented at the Thunder Stage during CCXP24 in São Paulo, Brazil. Showrunner Rafe Judkins and cast members Josha Stradowski (playing Rand al'Thor) and Madeleine Madden (portraying Egwene al'Vere) participated in a panel where they engaged in an enjoyable and enlightening discussion with hosts Aline Diniz and Ikaro Kadoshi.
During the panel, they provided a glimpse into the action-packed season ahead and discussed what awaits many beloved characters. The teaser highlights a shifting world where the Shadow’s influence is deepening, and the clash between Light and Dark has reached a critical juncture, prompting Moiraine (played by Rosamund Pike) and Egwene to do everything in their power to prevent Rand from succumbing to darkness.
This series is based on the renowned fantasy book series The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan, which follows a simple farm boy, Rand al’Thor, who discovers he is the Dragon Reborn—a pivotal figure from history who is fated to either save or doom the world. As the Wheel of Time turns, the Last Battle looms closer.
Season two concluded with Rand reuniting with his friends after vanquishing Ishamael at Falme and being proclaimed the Dragon Reborn.
However, in Season Three, the dangers facing the Light are escalating: the White Tower is fractured, the Black Ajah roams free, old adversaries return to the Two Rivers, and the remaining Forsaken are hot on the heels of the Dragon, including Lanfear, whose connection with Rand will lead to a significant choice between Light and Dark for both.
The cast of The Wheel of Time features Rosamund Pike (known for Saltburn and Gone Girl) as Moiraine Damodred, Daniel Henney (from Criminal Minds) as al’Lan Mandragoran, Josha Stradowski (from Gran Turismo) as Rand al’Thor, and Zoë Robins (of Power Rangers Ninja Steel) as Nynaeve al’Meara.
