Vedhika Kumar Reflects on Her Recent Film: A Fulfilling Way to Conclude the Year with ‘Fear’

Mumbai, Dec 16(NationPress) Actress Vedhika Kumar, whose recent film 'Fear' premiered just a few days ago, believes that concluding the year with 'Fear' is genuinely fulfilling. In an exclusive statement to IANS, Vedhika discussed her latest film 'Fear' and her upcoming five releases in 2024.
Vedhika remarked, “When God’s grace meets hard work, magic happens. That has been my journey since 2023, and I’m filled with gratitude for my fans, the universe, and my well-wishers. Having five releases in a year is truly special, especially when each project challenges me in various ways and allows me to showcase my versatility.”
Furthermore, Vedhika expressed, “Starting the year strong and now concluding it with ‘Fear’ feels incredibly rewarding. I’m thankful for the appreciation, and I hope this momentum propels me to reach even greater heights in 2025.”

Looking forward, there are rumors that Vedhika may have another Tamil release by the year’s end, along with several other thrilling projects in the works.
Vedhika Kumar primarily works in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam films. She began her career in showbiz mostly through modeling assignments. She was approached by Arjun to lead the film ‘Madrasi’.
After the release of ‘Madrasi’, Vedhika was offered a role in the Hindi film ‘Jai Santoshi Maa’, but that project did not materialize. She continued her acting career in South Indian films.
She has acted in movies such as ‘Muni’, ‘Vijaydashmi’, ‘Shivakashi’, and ‘Kaalai’.
Her latest film ‘Fear’ tackles themes of mental health. Vedhika portrays the central character Sindhu, who has been plagued by mental health issues since childhood. She feels as though someone is out to kill her, and as the narrative unfolds, the mystery deepens.
