On his special day, Prime Minister Modi is set to visit Bhainsola village in the Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, where he will lay the foundation stone for India’s inaugural PM MITRA (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Park, marking a significant advancement for the textile sector in the state.
This initiative is part of a broader plan featuring seven textile hubs across the nation under the PM MITRA scheme.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will also unveil two major national initiatives: ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar’ (Healthy Women, Empowered Families) and the eighth Rashtriya Poshan Maah (National Nutrition Month), aimed at enhancing health and nutrition services in the country, particularly for women, children, and adolescents.
From September 17 to October 2, over one lakh health camps will be conducted nationwide, representing the largest health outreach campaign in India’s history. These camps will focus on women-centric healthcare services, including screenings for non-communicable diseases, anaemia, tuberculosis, and sickle cell disease, alongside maternal and adolescent health check-ups, immunizations, and nutrition advice.
Specialized medical services in areas such as gynaecology, paediatrics, dermatology, ENT, and psychiatry will be provided through both public and private health institutions. Additionally, nationwide blood donation drives will take place, with participants registered via the e-Raktkosh portal and facilitated through the MyGov platform.
