Chennai, March 22 (NationPress) The Censor Board of Film Certification has granted approval for the release of director S U Arun Kumar’s thrilling action film ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’, featuring Chiyaan Vikram in the lead role, awarding it a U/A certificate, as announced by its creators on Saturday.
The production company, HR Pictures, which is behind this eagerly anticipated action film set to premiere on March 27, took to social media to share the news.
They stated, “#VeeraDheeraSooran has been censored with a U/A rating - #Kaali will be in theatres starting this March 27th! An #SUArunKumar Production. Music by @gvprakash. Produced by @hr_pictures @riyashibu”
Notably, the film's producer, Shibu Thameens, recently expressed his joy on X after viewing the film.

From what has been disclosed, Vikram portrays an ordinary man running a grocery store. His character stands out due to its unique design. From the few sequences shared so far, it’s clear that Vikram’s character remains calm and composed when faced with peril. His persona can be described as cool, composed, powerful, and resourceful. Meanwhile, S J Suryah takes on the role of a senior police officer in the film.
Interestingly, ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’, which boasts a star-studded cast including Chiyaan Vikram, S.J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Dushara Vijayan, will see its second installment released first.
