Chennai, March 11 (NationPress) Malayalam actor Suraj Venjaramoodu marks his entry into Tamil cinema with the highly anticipated action film, ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’, directed by S U Arun Kumar and starring Chiyaan Vikram. His remarkable ability to deliver dialogues in Tamil with clarity and precision, despite not being fluent in the language, has left a lasting impression on the entire crew, especially the director.
In a recent interview with a YouTube channel, director S U Arunkumar elaborated on his experience collaborating with Suraj Venjaramoodu. He revealed that the film has generated substantial excitement among fans and cinema enthusiasts.
Arunkumar shared, “I was keen on casting Suraj Venjaramoodu in this project. I mentioned this to the producer as they share a close friendship. When I met him, he immediately expressed his willingness to be a part of the film, asking me to narrate the story to him.”
The director was taken aback by Suraj’s quick acceptance to join the film even before the story was presented, attributing it to his admiration for Arun Kumar’s previous works, ‘Chithha’ and ‘Pannaiyarum Padminiyum’. “When so many talented individuals join my project out of trust, it heightens my sense of responsibility,” he remarked.
He further emphasized Suraj’s professionalism, stating, “This was his first time here. On the initial day, he had numerous dialogues to deliver, yet he handled it with ease. He prepared in advance, secured a translator, and memorized his lines thoroughly. If you watch the film, you will notice that there is no lip-syncing at all, which is impressive considering he does not know Tamil,” the director added, expressing his admiration for the actor.
Previously, the film's team had released visual teasers and glimpses of the project.
As per the details shared, Vikram portrays an ordinary man running a grocery store, while S J Suryah plays a senior police officer.
Notably, ‘Veera Dheera Sooran’ boasts a star-studded cast including Chiyaan Vikram, S.J. Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Dushara Vijayan. Interestingly, the sequel to the film will be released first, set to premiere on March 27 this year.
