Mumbai, Dec 3 (NationPress) Bollywood actor Vikrant Massey, who previously declared his hiatus from acting, has now provided an updated statement regarding his announcement. The actor emphasized that he is not retiring from his film career, contrary to widespread media reports, and mentioned that he is merely taking a lengthy break to concentrate on his health and family.
In his updated statement, he expressed, “Acting is my passion, and it has granted me everything I hold dear. However, my physical and mental well-being have been affected. I simply wish to take some time off to enhance my craft. Currently, I feel a sense of monotony.”
He further clarified, “My previous post has been misconstrued as me quitting or retiring from acting. I aim to take a breather to prioritize my family and well-being. I will return when the moment feels appropriate (sic).”
Earlier, the actor announced his “hiatus” through his social media platforms, sharing a post that read, “Hello, the past few years have been extraordinary. I am grateful to each one of you for your unwavering support. As I progress, I realize it’s time to recalibrate and return home, both as a Husband, Father & Son, and as an Actor. Thus, in 2025, we will meet one final time. Until the time is right. I cherish the last two films and the multitude of memories. Thank you once again, for everything and all that lies in between. Forever grateful.”
On the professional front, the actor has been garnering significant positive feedback for his latest release, ‘The Sabarmati Report’.
