Key Takeaways
Mumbai, Jan 30 (NationPress) Stand-up comedy sensation and actor Vir Das is thrilled as his film “Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos” continues to grace cinema screens in its second week, even amidst a wave of high-budget, visually extravagant films vying for audience attention.
Reflecting on the film’s positive reception and its ongoing theatrical run, Vir expressed: “From the outset, we recognized this as a modest production entering a market dominated by grandiosity. Therefore, the fact that Happy Patel remains in theaters during its second week, in spite of that reality, is incredibly meaningful for us.”
He further shared: “Ultimately, it’s the audience who has propelled this film forward, discovering it, discussing it, and returning with friends. This kind of engagement is what keeps a film like ours alive in theaters.”
