Mumbai, Oct 3 (NationPress) Did you know that actor Sanjay Dutt, son of the late actor Sunil Dutt, actually interrupted a performance by the legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar midway? It's true!
During a nostalgic episode of the chat show "Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai", Dutt sahab shared that during the 1971 war, he insisted on accompanying Lata ji to Bangladesh. When Dutt sahab informed him that he couldn't join as all artists had to perform to go, Sanjay boldly declared that he would play the bongos.
When Lata ji took the stage in Bangladesh to perform, she had to pause her song because the bongo was being played incorrectly.
Looking back, an upset Lata ji discovered that it was little Sanjay behind the mistake and graciously told him, "Keep on playing".
In a more recent update, on Thursday, Sanjay shared a heartfelt message for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on its 100th anniversary. He posted a video on his X (formerly Twitter) account, expressing his thoughts about the organization.
The actor from 'Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.' stated, “Namaskar. This Vijaya Dashami marks 100 years of RSS. Through every challenge, the Sangh has remained devoted to the nation and nation-building. Swamsevaks have played vital roles in various fields and have served during every calamity.”
He continued, “RSS continues its work for positive social change. Let us unite in the mission of nation-building. Congratulations to RSS on 100 years. Jai Hind. Jai Bharat.”
Earlier, Sanjay visited the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain, where he was seen in the Nandi Hall, taking blessings while witnessing the Bhasma Aarti.
Reflecting on his divine visit, Sanjay expressed, “It is my great fortune that Baba Mahakal called me here. I've been trying to visit for years.”
He added, “I felt the divine energy. May Baba Mahakal’s blessings always be with us.”
