Why Nikeet Dhillon Felt the Need to Listen to Her New Track 'Jaane Hai Te Ja' Multiple Times?

Mumbai, Dec 17 (NationPress) Actress Nikeet Dhillon recently shared a fascinating behind-the-scenes story about her latest song, 'Jaane Hai Te Ja'.

In a surprising revelation, she mentioned that she needed to listen to the track nearly ten times before she could genuinely connect with it. Nikeet worked with Punjabi singer Happy Raikoti for her new music video.

Discussing the song, the actress said, “The song I received was a romantic piece with an Indian essence. I listened to it almost ten times to immerse myself in it. While preparing for the shoot, I questioned why I was being styled in a western outfit if the song had such an Indian vibe. Despite my doubts, I wanted to trust the director’s vision.”

“Our first shot was on a bike, so there was no music; the second shot took place in a jungle, again without music. As we prepared for our third shot, the director informed me of a scene where we would be fighting before parting ways. That’s when I asked him why we were fighting if it was a romantic song. The director clarified that it was actually a sad song, which left me utterly confused. Wait, what? It’s a sad song? I then asked, ‘What is the name of the song?’ He replied, ‘Jaane Hai Te Ja,’ and I realized this was not the track the production house had sent me—it was a different song altogether,” Nikeet explained.

Additionally, while sharing more insights, Dhillon disclosed that she was vacationing in Chandigarh when a friend messaged her about a song being recorded with Happy Raikoti and inquired if she would like to join in.

“I thought it would be a great opportunity since I hadn’t done a music album in quite some time, so I agreed. It was on very short notice, and we began shooting the very next day,” Nikeet shared.

Nikeet Dhillon, who was crowned Miss India Himachal Pradesh last year, is a prominent figure in the Punjabi film industry. She has an exciting line-up of films, including “Jatt Brothers,” “Sikander 2,” and “Yaar Anmulle Returns.”
