Mumbai, March 31 (NationPress) Renowned Hollywood director Zack Snyder has praised Indian actress Huma Qureshi, referring to her as "one of the most incredible actors" he has had the opportunity to collaborate with on "Army Of The Dead."

Snyder expressed his admiration on Instagram, sharing an image of Huma, who portrayed Geeta Ranjan in the 2021 zombie heist film that he directed.

He commented: "@iamhumaq — one of the most incredible actors I’ve had the pleasure of working with on Army of the Dead. Her talent, presence, and sheer brilliance shine on screen."

Huma, who made her debut in Hollywood with "Army Of The Dead", responded in the comments with: "You the best.. boss man."

The film is based on a concept Snyder created and boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Dave Bautista, Ella Purnell, Omari Hardwick, Ana de la Reguera, Theo Rossi, Matthias Schweighofer, Nora Arnezeder, Hiroyuki Sanada, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Huma Qureshi, and Garret Dillahunt.

It revolves around a group of mercenaries planning a heist at a Las Vegas casino during a zombie apocalypse. Snyder envisioned Army of the Dead as a spiritual successor to his 2004 film Dawn of the Dead.

Regarding Snyder, he began his career focusing on music videos and made his feature film debut in 2004 with Dawn of the Dead, a remake of the classic 1978 horror movie.

Since then, he has directed and produced several comic book and superhero films, including 300 and Watchmen, along with the Superman film that initiated the DC Extended Universe, Man of Steel, and its sequels, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Justice League.

Besides comic adaptations, he directed the animated feature Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole, the psychological action film Sucker Punch, the zombie heist movie Army of the Dead, and the two-part space opera Rebel Moon.

Meanwhile, Huma is set to appear in the Yash-led film "Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups". The production team previously revealed the looks of Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria.

Co-written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas, and directed by Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has been filmed in both Kannada and English, with plans for dubbed versions in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and various other languages.

Reportedly, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups is a gripping narrative of crime and betrayal set against the backdrop of 1980s Goa, where a formidable drug cartel disrupts lives amid the state's beautiful beaches and lively culture.

Huma’s recent projects include "Maharani 4" and "Delhi Crime Season 3".

Maharani 4, directed by Puneet Prakash, produced by Kangra Talkies Pvt. Ltd., and created by Subhash Kapoor, features Huma alongside Shweta Basu Prasad, Vipin Sharma, Amit Sial, Vineet Kumar, Shardul Bhardwaj, Kani Kusruti, and Pramod Pathak.

She also stars in the third season of "Delhi Crime", directed by Tanuj Chopra, alongside notable actors such as Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang, Jaya Bhattacharya, and Anuraag Arora. The cast also features Sayani Gupta, Mita Vasisht, Kelly Dorji, and Anshumaan Pushkar.
