Reflecting on the teachings of the esteemed Tamil sage Thirumoolar, he remarked that meditation is comparable to igniting an inner light that dispels ignorance and leads to truth and peace.
He remarked that Thirumoolar viewed the human body as a temple and meditation as a pathway to connect with the Divine within.
Highlighting his enduring commitment to fighting drug abuse, the Vice-President reminisced about his padyatra in 2004 aimed at eradicating drugs.
Expressing concern over the rising trend of substance abuse, particularly among the youth, he indicated that meditation can be a powerful ally in combating addiction by helping individuals navigate stress, anxiety, and aimlessness.
