With Bihar advancing in healthcare, could this enhance Nitish Kumar's electoral chances?
Earlier, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar criticized the former Rashtriya Janata Dal administrations, pointing out the substandard health infrastructure during the terms of former Chief Ministers Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi.
Nitish Kumar emphasized the substantial improvements in Bihar's healthcare sector under his governance.
"During Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi's regime, hospitals in Bihar were in dire conditions. Before our administration in 2005, an average of only 39 individuals visited Primary Health Centres (PHCs). Currently, over 11,000 patients seek treatment at PHCs monthly. We have revolutionized Bihar's healthcare system with enhanced facilities and infrastructure," the Chief Minister asserted.
