Hyderabad, July 9 (NationPress) The tragic incident involving adulterated toddy in Hyderabad has resulted in a death toll of five as of Wednesday. Over 30 individuals affected by this incident are currently receiving treatment at various healthcare facilities.

Five of those impacted have unfortunately passed away while receiving care at different hospitals.

One of the victims, Sita Ram (47), a resident of Wanaparthy district staying in Hydernagar, died at Gandhi Hospital on Wednesday morning.

Additionally, a woman known as Swarupa (65) died at a private hospital. Her family was preparing for her final rites when police intervened, moving her body to Gandhi Hospital's mortuary for an autopsy.
