Perth, May 2 (NationPress) Special Yoga sessions took place globally on Friday, initiating the 50-day countdown to the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2025.
In Perth, Australia, senior members of Health Support Services engaged in chair Yoga.
"We celebrated the 50 Day Countdown to International Day of Yoga 2025 with remarkable energy and unity among the HSS Seniors of Perth, showcasing some chair Yoga. Yoga for One Earth, One Health," the Consulate General of India in Perth shared on X.
Over in Kandy, Sri Lanka, teachers, the principal, and more than 50 students from the Kathiresan Central College in Nawalapitiya took part in a yoga session organized by the Assistant High Commission of India.
The Consulate General of India in Hambantota also hosted a special yoga session for children at a detention center.
