Quetta, Aug 16 (NationPress) Prominent Baloch human rights advocate, Mir Yar Baloch, has criticized Pakistan's newly established Army Rocket Force Command (ARFC), labeling it a “sham and empty bluster” fueled by borrowed resources.
“On August 14, Pakistan’s puppet Prime Minister (Shehbaz Sharif), visibly anxious, recited a script crafted by the military establishment. Throughout his speech, he frequently glanced at the Generals, whose expressions indicated that the so-called Army Rocket Force Command (ARFC) is merely a sham and empty bluster,” Mir expressed on X.
The activist accused Pakistan of financing its military personnel by exploiting Balochistan’s mineral resources, asserting that such plunder will no longer be tolerated. He declared that the so-called “ARFC Pakistan dream” is powered by Balochistan’s wealth and that the province is prepared to sever that power source.
“We assure our allies that Balochistan is poised to become a flourishing nation in the region, fully sovereign over its minerals, oil and gas, seas, land, and airspace, and ready to defend its skies against any hostile actions from Pakistan,” Mir reiterated.
He claimed that Pakistan’s tanks are running low on fuel, its missiles are nearing their operational limits, and its aircraft will no longer traverse Balochistan's airspace.
The courageous and patriotic populace of Balochistan, along with millions of determined citizens, Mir stated, have resolved that the responsibility for the region’s peace, prosperity, and defense now rests with Balochistan itself.
Mir emphasized that it is the “moral, political, and diplomatic duty” of the international community to bolster Balochistan’s defensive capabilities in every conceivable manner, ensuring that “Pakistan’s mercenary military”, representing an artificial state, is never again allowed to instigate instability and turmoil in the region.
Balochistan's citizens are presently striving for their independence from Pakistan. Numerous human rights organizations have consistently spotlighted the oppression inflicted by Pakistani forces in the province, which encompasses violent raids on Baloch leaders' and civilians' homes, unlawful detentions, enforced disappearances, the 'kill and dump' policy, detentions under the Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance, and the filing of fabricated police cases.
