Quetta, Aug 16 (NationPress) Prominent Baloch human rights advocate, Mir Yar Baloch, harshly criticized the newly established Army Rocket Force Command (ARFC) of Pakistan, labeling it a "sham and empty bluster" fueled by borrowed resources.
"The puppet Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, visibly anxious, recited a script crafted by the military junta on August 14. Throughout his speech, he frequently glanced at the Generals, whose expressions suggested that this so-called Army Rocket Force Command is purely a facade," Mir shared on X.
The human rights advocate claimed that Pakistan is funding its military by exploiting the mineral wealth of Balochistan, asserting that such plundering will no longer be tolerated. He insisted that the so-called ARFC Pakistan dream is sustained by the resources of Balochistan, and the province is prepared to sever that power supply.
"We assure our allied nations that Balochistan is on the verge of becoming a thriving country in the region, sovereign over its own minerals, oil, gas, seas, land, and skies, and ready to defend its airspace against any hostile actions from Pakistan," Mir affirmed.
He asserted that Pakistan's tanks are running low on fuel, its missiles nearing the end of their operational capacity, and its aircraft will no longer be permitted to traverse Balochistan’s skies.
The courageous and patriotic people of Balochistan, along with millions of determined citizens, have resolved that the responsibility for the region’s peace, prosperity, and defense will now lie with Balochistan itself, Mir stated.
He stressed that it is the moral, political, and diplomatic duty of the international community to bolster Balochistan’s defense capabilities in every possible manner, ensuring that Pakistan’s mercenary military from an artificial state is never again allowed to propagate instability and unrest in the region.
Residents of Balochistan are currently striving for independence from Pakistan. Numerous human rights organizations have repeatedly highlighted the oppression faced by the people of Balochistan at the hands of Pakistani forces, including violent raids on homes of Baloch leaders and civilians, unlawful detentions, enforced disappearances, the 'kill and dump' policy, detentions under the Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance, and the filing of fabricated police cases.
