Quetta, Nov 15 (NationPress) Prominent Baloch human rights advocate, Mir Yar Baloch, asserted on Saturday that the recent car bomb explosion near Delhi's iconic Red Fort, along with the accidental blast in Srinagar that resulted in multiple fatalities, represents Pakistan's signalling a declaration of war.

He contended that over the past 78 years, the world has derived nothing from its relationship with Pakistan except for terrorism, bloodshed, instability, nuclear threats, and the burden of supporting its faltering economy.

In a post on X, Mir stated, "Pakistan is a nation with a fabricated history, whose economy is sustained by the exploitation of Balochistan's extensive resources, and whose military has nurtured and armed militant factions, perpetuating a relentless cycle of conflict. It seems that Pakistan is poised to recreate the turbulent conditions of the 1990s in India once again."

"Balochistan's defense analysts have concluded that Pakistan has no intention of renouncing terrorism. Therefore, much like Israel, Delhi must contemplate large-scale, decisive action. Israel continues to target numerous, more formidable nations simultaneously, while Pakistan would struggle to endure even a month of sustained conflict with India. Thus, it is crucial for India to decisively conclude the conflict initiated by Pakistan's terrorist assaults," he added.

Mir emphasized the necessity for India to openly provide defensive and military support to both Balochistan and Afghanistan urgently.

"In Afghanistan, India should aim for at least ten more air bases, in addition to Bagram, to launch operations from Afghan soil, and should equip the nation with defensive systems and long-range missiles to safeguard its airspace from Pakistani air strikes. Concurrently, it is paramount for India to deliver comprehensive training and logistical backing to the ground, air, and naval forces of the Republic of Balochistan," the human rights advocate urged.

According to experts, Mir stated that Delhi and Kabul should collaboratively organize an India–Afghanistan–Balochistan trilateral summit to address pressing concerns and seek pathways for cooperation aimed at protecting mutual interests and countering terrorism and proxy wars orchestrated by Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and military.

He stressed that inviting Baloch leaders to India for an Indo-Afghan-Baloch conference would serve as the "final blow" to Pakistan's long-standing terrorism.

Mir concluded, "Enduring peace in India and Afghanistan can only be achieved if Balochistan attains independence. Although it is often claimed that war yields nothing but loss, in the case of Balochistan's liberation, such a conflict could provide strategic advantages by dismantling Pakistan, a detrimental force that has historically incited conflict and instability across the region."

Point of View

I recognize the complexities of geopolitical tensions in South Asia. The claims made by Mir Yar Baloch highlight the urgent need for dialogue and strategic measures to ensure stability in the region. While his assertions raise important concerns, it is crucial to approach such sensitive topics with a balanced perspective.
