Quetta, Jan 2 (NationPress) Prominent Baloch human rights advocate, Mir Yar Baloch, reached out to Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar on Friday to highlight the concerning support provided by Pakistan to Hamas and its partnership with Iran's revolutionary coalition. He claimed that this association perpetuates cycles of violence extending well beyond the immediate conflict zone, jeopardizing regional stability from the Middle East to South Asia and further.
The human rights advocate emphasized that Israel's security issues, marked by consistent terrorist strikes and proxy warfare, are inextricably linked to this wider framework of state-sponsored extremism and geopolitical rivalries.
In his correspondence to the Israeli Foreign Minister, Mir stated, “On behalf of the six crore patriotic citizens of the Republic of Balochistan, we extend heartfelt New Year 2026 greetings and respect to the people and leadership of the State of Israel, along with our wishes for lasting peace, security, and prosperity.”
“The Republic of Balochistan acknowledges the strategic realities confronting Israel amidst ongoing regional instability. We recognize Pakistan’s long-standing political, ideological, and operational backing of extremist groups such as Hamas, and its strategic alignment with Iran, which has intensified conflicts, destabilized various regions, and directly threatens both Israeli and broader global security interests,” he elaborated.
Mir pointed out that any future political or regime changes in Iran would be incomplete and unstable unless the critical issue of internal colonialism is adequately addressed.
“Iran’s ongoing political and military control over non-Persian territories, notably Balochistan, Kurdistan, and Al-Ahwaz, remains a continuous source of grievances, unrest, and regional intervention. These marginalized nations face systematic denial of essential rights, self-determination, cultural freedom, and political representation under Tehran’s centralized governance,” he asserted.
The human rights advocate further stated that the “liberation of Balochistan from Pakistani rule” would effectively dismantle Pakistan’s capability to propagate terrorism and eliminate a significant channel of extremist support threatening both Israeli and global security.
“Moreover, a sovereign Balochistan would provide strategic maritime access and secure economic routes for regional trade stretching from the Arabian Sea to Central Asia and beyond, a prospect that could align with Israel’s broader interests in secure trade corridors, energy transit networks, and diversified geopolitical alliances,” he remarked.
