Quetta, Dec 24 (NationPress) Prominent Baloch human rights advocate, Mir Yar Baloch, on Wednesday accused Pakistan's deep state of fueling the rise in mob lynching, hate-fueled violence, and targeted assaults against the Hindu community in Bangladesh.
The human rights activist asserted that these acts of communal violence, which deliberately target peaceful Hindus, have escalated in Bangladesh following the decline of the Awami League government led by former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He described these actions as a grave violation of human rights, threatening the essence of a diverse society.
Mir stated, "Pakistan operates as a nation fueled by terrorism, overseen not by a professional military but by a global mercenary network and a rogue military establishment. History shows that wherever Pakistani forces or their proxies wield influence, peace, prosperity, and development vanish," he posted on X.
He further elaborated that during its close ties with Afghanistan, Pakistan devastated Kabul. He also pointed out that since Pakistan's "illegal and coercive occupation" of Balochistan, genocide has surged in the province, with frequent abductions of Baloch women.
He emphasized that Pakistan was responsible for the genocide of three million Bengali individuals and the systematic assault of hundreds of thousands of women during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War.
"As Pakistan reestablishes its influence in Bangladesh post-Hasina, insecurity, near civil-war conditions, discrimination, and oppression against Hindus have escalated. Pakistan aims to exploit Bangladesh as a proxy to destabilize India," Mir said.
He urged the people of Bangladesh, stating, "Pakistan is a cancer; the closer you get to it, the more chaos and destruction you invite into your nation. It is time to unite against Pakistan-sponsored riots and violence targeting the Hindu community."
Mir encouraged the Bangladeshis not to forget India's friendship and sacrifices, highlighting that India shed blood alongside them to liberate them from Pakistan's chains of "slavery and tyranny".
"India is a reliable neighbor; Pakistan is a deceptive enemy that betrays its allies, as currently seen with the Taliban. We advocate for solidarity, peace, and justice, rejecting external forces from Pakistan that aim to create divisions for their interests," he emphasized.
