Explosion Claims Four Lives and Injures Eight in Iranian Residential Area

Tehran, Dec 8 (NationPress) An explosion in a residential structure located in the northwestern Iranian province of East Azarbaijan has led to the deaths of at least four individuals and left eight others injured. The incident took place in the provincial capital, Tabriz, on Saturday afternoon, attributed to a release of natural gas.

The explosion caused damage to several adjacent buildings, according to Vahid Shadinia, the spokesperson for the provincial emergency medical service, as reported by the Xinhua news agency, citing the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA).

Emergency responders, including law enforcement teams and six ambulances, have been dispatched to the location, Shadinia stated, noting that rescue and relief efforts are ongoing and more information will be shared shortly.
