Five Construction Workers Lose Their Lives in a Nepalese Mudslide

Kathmandu, Dec 1 (NationPress) Five Nepali workers involved in bridge construction tragically perished on Sunday after being buried by a mudslide.

The workers were deployed to excavate a pit for a suspension bridge in the Rolpa district of western Nepal when the unfortunate incident took place.

According to Rohit Kumar Shahi, the spokesperson for the district police, "Of the seven labourers who were engaged in the excavation, two were able to escape while the remaining lost their lives." Shahi further mentioned that the bodies of the deceased had been recovered and all victims hailed from the same village within the district.
