New Delhi, Nov 24 (NationPress) On Monday, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) extended its gratitude to the UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their heartfelt condolences regarding the tragic plane crash during the Dubai Air Show, which claimed the life of Indian Air Force (IAF) pilot, Wing Commander Namansh Syal.

Wing Commander Syal tragically lost his life in a Tejas fighter jet accident at the Dubai Air Show on Friday. Originating from Kangra district in Himachal Pradesh, he was a dedicated serviceman.

The MEA's statement shared on X expressed, "We appreciate the solidarity shown by the UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The sentiments of the UAE government and its citizens are truly valued." This response followed the condolence message from the UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

His parents, Jagan Nath, a retired serviceman and former principal in the Himachal Pradesh Education Department, and Bina Devi were in Hyderabad visiting their son when the tragic incident occurred on November 21. The HAL-designed Tejas Light Combat Aircraft he piloted lost control during a low-altitude display at Dubai's Al Maktoum International Airport, leading to the fatal crash.
