Israeli Air Force Targets Four Hezbollah Sites Despite Ceasefire: IDF Reports

Jerusalem, December 1 (NationPress) The Israeli Air Force (IAF) executed airstrikes on four Hezbollah positions in Lebanon, according to a report from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), three days post the initiation of a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah.

The IDF highlighted that the airstrikes occurred on Saturday after they detected actions in Lebanon that threatened Israel's security and breached the ceasefire agreements, as reported by Xinhua news agency.

In one instance, the IAF targeted rocket launchers in the coastal city of Sidon in southwestern Lebanon, following the identification of terrorist activity within a Hezbollah facility.

In another operation, the IAF struck a vehicle that had recently been seen being loaded with RPGs, ammunition boxes, and various other military supplies by armed personnel.

The IAF also engaged Hezbollah militants who were reported to be moving towards Hezbollah structures in southern Lebanon. Subsequently, IDF forces discovered a cache of weapons, including grenades and guns, on these militants.

Furthermore, the IAF conducted an intelligence-driven strike on a military vehicle at a Hezbollah rocket manufacturing site deep within Lebanon.

The ceasefire between Hezbollah and Israel, which commenced on Wednesday, is reportedly holding, although there have been sporadic violations in border regions noted by both parties.
