Rome, May 28 (NationPress) Stefania Craxi, the head of the Italian Senate's Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee, on Wednesday advocated for strengthening collaboration with India to combat the global menace of terrorism during a meeting with the visiting Indian all-party Parliamentary delegation led by BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad.

The delegation informed the Italian Senator about India's unified position against terrorism in all its manifestations, emphasizing a zero-tolerance approach towards cross-border terrorism.

"During our stay in Italy, my fellow delegation members and I had the honor of meeting Senator Stefania Craxi, Chair of the Senate's Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee. We briefed her on India's steadfast stance against terrorism in every form, highlighting our zero-tolerance policy concerning cross-border terrorism. Senator Craxi resonated with our views, stressing the necessity for a collective global response to terrorism and suggesting enhanced cooperation between India and Italy to address this urgent issue," Prasad shared on X.

Earlier that day, the delegation arrived in Rome after a fruitful visit to France and was welcomed by India's Ambassador to Italy, Vani Rao, who also provided a briefing.
